As part of its ongoing mission to provide hope by preventing and alleviating homelessness and hunger in the Blue Ridge Region, RAM House is leading a collaborative effort to fund and coordinate transportation for individuals traveling to and from local shelters. This initiative removes one of the most significant barriers facing those experiencing homelessness: reliable access to services. By strengthening this connected system of care, RAM House is helping individuals move toward greater stability, improved physical and mental health, and long-term self-sufficiency.

This effort not only supports vulnerable community members but also contributes to a more coordinated and compassionate approach to reducing unsheltered foot traffic throughout downtown Roanoke.
